A massive transformation is underway in India and it is quite visible now. Successive governments led by the Congress has manipulated Indians for decades after Independence to accept lower standards in social, political and economic spheres.

India simply moved from a British occupied country to a dynastic fiefdom of sorts.

After a short spell of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government at the cusp of the new century, the BJP returned to power with full mandate in 2014 and again got re-elected in 2019 with more robust majority. The aspirations and persistence of the Indian voters is being pronounced and expressed with clarity.

It was clear from the verdict of general elections 2019 that the people of India, who had been disillusioned by the awful governance by successive governments, were convinced and content about the five-year rule of Narendra Modi that kindled their lost hopes and chose to re-elect him with a thumping majority, sending a message loud and clear that the BJP is the only party that can keep India's democratic and secular spirit alive and ticking.

Despite the Opposition parties unleashing an avalanche of criticism against Narendra Modi and the BJP, the sensible populace of this great county could comprehend the false propaganda for cheap political gains and stood strongly behind the towering leader who has been by this time cynosure of all eyes across the world for his inimitable statesmanship and unparalleled leadership qualities.

With the huge mandate thrust upon him by the people of the country, Narendra Modi will resume his role as the Prime Minister of India for the second term today, and for the next five years of his elected term.

Reform, perform and transform has been his governance agenda in the last term and it will continue in his second term too.

During the last five years, Modi has brought radical changes in the social structure of the country, making India a force to reckon with in the international showground and stood in the forefront of development in all spheres in the country.

It was in fact his legendary leadership that ensured that every Indian got the fruits of his hard work and changed India to a shining democracy that other countries in the world looked at with admiration.

A whole lot of welfare schemes implemented by the Modi government have in fact enchanted Indian people and that is the very reason that they decided to keep away anti-people elements from coming to power.

Those who tried to tarnish the image of Modi in the name of religion and social polarisation realised the fact that the Indian electorate is not something that can be fooled for a long time.

Cutting across regions, castes and religions, the people decided to keep the right leader and the right party at the helm and hence such a landslide victory for the BJP and Narendra Modi.

I am very certain that the next century belongs to India. India will not just be the fastest growing economy in the world but will also be the largest in the next two decades.

The 2019 election outcomes have re-established that Indians have voted for transformation and are willing to undergo any amount of pain for the rise of 'New India'.

The need of the hour is to reinvent the Indian value system. There's an impending need to re-establish our national values, work culture, moral credentials and simplicity in our social, academic and business domains.

Good governance is not good enough - it has to be 'great governance'. I am quite certain that Prime Minister Modi will focus on high priority areas of social transformation through poverty alleviation, fundamental reforms in agriculture and farming, shifting the governance model from entitlement to empowerment, inspiring enterprise of scale and quality consciousness.

From the lessons that he learnt during his years as the Prime Minister of India, Modi sure has evolved to be a much better politician and a true statesman who can steer the country to greater heights in the days to come. As an Indian, I am proud that my nation is moving in the right direction at last.

It has moved away from falling prey to petty doles by family-run political enterprises.

Indians have shunned the divisive agenda of selfish parties to divide and rule India on the basis of Muslim appeasement, regionalism, casteism and economic insecurities. Indians have also rejected the popular politics of uncouth and opportunistic alliances.

It is heartening to see that the emerging 'New India' has now become a country where divisive and destructive politics does not have place any more and progressive and proactive governance will stay put, keeping at length the unholy nexus of regional players who try to sabotage the national integration in the name of regional sentiments.

Country's federal fabric and peaceful coexistence have reached to a new milestone with Modi's election as the Prime Minister for a second term in a row.

There is still vast scope for development in the country, which only the BJP and its alliances under the deft leadership of Modi and Amit Shah can make possible through their unbiased and all-embracing policies. I am sure that Modi will lead India to greater heights and will make the country the most enviable republic in the world during his regime in the next five years.

I am also certain that Prime Minister Modi will lead India into an era of social and economic justice and progress. His decade of governance will leapfrog India into the essential and fundamental transformation which was required decades ago.

The expectations of 1.3 billion population has been clearly communicated. Now is the time for action, to make this a century of India.
