The AISECT Group of Universities has announced the date for the AISECT Joint Entrance Examination (AJEE) 2019 for admissions into the Group’s five universities located in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Bihar.

New Delhi: The AISECT Group of Universities has announced the date for the AISECT Joint Entrance Examination (AJEE) 2019 for admissions into the Group's five universities located in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Bihar.

The all-India exam will be held on May 26 for programmes under the Faculties of Engineering, Education, Law, Management, Agriculture, Nursing and Paramedical across all the universities of the Group.

AJEE 2019 will be conducted for securing a place out of approximately 7,000 seats that are available in these courses across the 5 universities. Of these, 3408 seats are available in Engineering, 910 in Education, 860 in Law, 890 in Management, 810 in Agriculture, 60 in Nursing and 50 in Paramedical.

AJEE 2019 will be conducted in both online and offline modes at select locations across the country. For both the modes, candidates will be required to answer 100 multiple-choice questions within 2 hours. The exam will test the aptitude of the candidates and their capability to pursue the particular course for which they apply. There will be no negative marking for choosing the wrong answer.

Based on the candidates' performance in the exam, they will be recommended for the institute corresponding to their expertise and interest. A merit list of the successful candidates will be declared on the websites of all the universities under the Group. The shortlisted candidates will then be invited for counseling sessions prior to admission in courses of eligibility and choice.

Online registrations for both the online and offline exams will start from April 25 . Online exam will be conducted from May 26 to June 26 and the offline exam will be conducted on May 26. AJEE 2019 results will be declared on 30th June, while the counseling sessions and final admissions will take place on 5th July. The application fee for the exam is INR 500.
