Hyderabad: As part of energy conservation Mission, NTPC, jointly with Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power ( Govt. of India ) , will be organising a state- level painting competition at Hyderabad on November 14 for the students of 4,5,6 (Group'A') and 7, 8, 9 (Group"B") standards of Telangana on energy conservation. The competition is three level i.e. School , State and National

The school level competition will be completed by October 26. All schools have to conduct competition on the topic and send best two painting in each group to the Nodal officer by October 31. The competition is open to all government and private schools of Telangana state

Those who are having internet facility can also upload the two best paintings of the school through school principal. However, the list of participants must be sent by post as hard copy.

Out of the received entries from all schools the top best 50 painting from each Group will be called for state-level competition to be held on November 14 at Hyderabad. The selected students from outstation will be paid with TA for one participant and two escorts for Group A and one participant and One escort for Group B by NTPC.

All the 100 participants selected for state level will be paid with a cash honorarium of Rs. 2500. The top three winners of each group will represent Telangana State at Nationals to be held on 12.12.2019 at Delhi. A total cash prize of approximately Rs. 5,00,000 ( Eight lacs ) have been given to 100 participants and 52 winners. The cash prize is given in the form of cashless instrument viz.,SBI gift cards

All the participants at state level would be given the following:

a. Participation certificate from Ministry of Power

b. Rs. 2500 cash incentive

c. T.A. Expenses for participant and two escorts upto AC3 tier by NTPC

d. Two Gifts from NTPC & BEE

All the participants and parents will be provided with hygienic food. Hence all interested students may participate in the competition through their schools. The school principals have to conduct a competition at school level and send two best paintings in each category to the below mentioned by courier to: Praveen Kumar, Nodal Officer, Telangana ,NTPC, SRHQ,Secunderabad
