Zega, the flagship Asian restaurant of Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel, hosted another yummy-licious food promotion. This time it was the delectable Indonesian Goreng Festival. The food promotion had an assortment of select delightful dishes in the à-la-carte menu. Chef Ho Chi Ming has carefully curated the menu of this authentic cuisine.

The Indonesian culinary journey started with Bakso, the lamb meatball soup, Sayur Asem, tamarind flavoured clear soup, and Gado Gado (salad). Next on the list was Sate Ayam, grilled chicken thighs and chicken skewers, which were simply scrumptious. And came the most well-known dish from the Emerald of the Equator – Nasi Goreng along with the noodle-based dish Mee Goreng (Wok tossed noodles with Sambal).



Both the dishes had a lasting impact on the palate. The other must-try delicacies on the menu are Ayam Bakar Taliwang, half-grilled chicken with Indonesian herbs; Badi Pangang, a dish made of crisp pork belly and the Nasi Uduk (coconut flavoured rice).
