Know Playful Nature of Ganesha : Story of Missing Conch of Vishnu

One fateful day, Lord Vishnu was in distress; the reason was that he lost his divine conch, which symbolized his power and presence had inexplicably vanished. Conch was an integral part of Lord Vishnu’s divine identity, and this loss left him deeply troubled.

Lord Vishnu continued his search for the missing conch; a curious and unmissable sound reached his divine ears. The sound tugged at his heartstrings, thus leading him to a realization: he must follow the echo to uncover the mystery. His search led him to Mount Kailash; to his astonishment, he discovered the source of the echoing conch, a scene that left him both perplexed amused. There stood Lord Ganesh, the mischevious diety, playfully blowing into the divine conch, as if it were a toy.

Understanding it needed diplomatic resolution; hence, Lord Vishnu approached Lord Shiva. Regrettably, Lord Shiva explained that even he could not predict or control Ganesha’s whims and pranks. Ganesha’s playful nature often defied divine authority, thus making it challenging even for his own father to rein him. However, Shiva suggested a path toward resolution, an offering of devotion and humanity.

Lord Vishna, who was determined to regain his beloved organized grand puja as an offering to Ganesha. As the grand puja reached its zenith, Lord became aware and was touched by Vishn’s heartfelt worship and devotion. Lord Ganesha appeared before Vishnu and returned the cherished conch.

In the end, this playful incident concludes on a very harmonious note, illustratign that even in momens of divine mischief, understanding and heartfel worship can bring about resoultion and unity.
