Telangana registers 71 new coronavirus cases, one death

Coronavirus in Telangana: According to Media Bulletin issued by the Director of Public Health and Family Welfare, of 71 cases, as many as 38 cases were reported from Greater Hyderabad, seven from Ranga Reddy district and one case each from Suryapet, Vikarabad, Nalgonda and Narayanapet. Further, 12 migrant workers and four Foreign Evacuees were also tested positive. Of 71 positive cases, 55 belong to Telangana. A total of 120 people were also discharged today on getting cured.

With this increase, the total number of Coronavirus positive cases in the State has increased to 1,991. However, with 1284 people getting cured/discharged, there are 650 Active Cases in the State. With one death on Tuesday, the death toll has increased to 57.

Tirupati News: With the fast-growing coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh for the last couple of days, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has sanctioned permission for the Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) Tirupati to go for plasma trials.
