Fake news menace

Some Telugu media houses are stooping to new lows to promote a particular political party. Recent fake survey results are classic example for this assertion.

A Telugu news channel telecast a poll survey saying it is conducted by Lokniti CSDS. It tried to boost the chances for a political party which it supports. But denial of this news by CSDS is a big blow to the channel which telecast it.

Because of this sort of cheap tactics of some news channels, people are losing faith in the fourth estate which is not a good development in democracy.
