It's very happy to hear CM KCR's promise on to revamp the entire revenue department ,including change of Collectors' designation as per needs of existing circumstances and announcement of taking help from GPS system for maintaining and updating land records to put full stop to all disputes in future is also welcoming thing.
But updation of land records should be free and fair. Then only this revamping revenue department fruits will reach the poor and common people.
At present all deportments are purely linked with corruption.Every one knows this.So that all are feel correction is a common thing. But It's not acceptable thing.
In fact some surveys also shows Telangana in top position in corruption .So that government should revamp the all the deportments at first as corruption free. Then Telangana people feel that the Telangana government works towards the formation of "Golden Telangana".
In fact revamp should be started from the education department. There is no recognised progress in this aspect in five- year- old Telangana. Our Telangana is lowest in literacy. It is pitiable that budget allocations for this year decreased when we compare it with last financial year.
There are reasons for this from government side and there are number of pending issues in education department like service rules, no promotions for years together, multiple management institutions under government education system.
KG to PG slogan is far away from the poor people in the present education system due to failure of CCE pattern. Teachers and students are facing huge problems in this CCE pattern particularly governments schools.
And lastly, if we revamp the education department may not give direct results, or may not vote bank issue but we can supply excellent human resources to not only Telangana but also to the entire world in future once we revamp the education department as giving first priority.
