It seems the capital city of Andhra Pradesh is going to die even before it is fully born.

It seems the capital city of Andhra Pradesh is going to die even before it is fully born. The TDP government started it in a bit of sulking following the surfacing of the vote to note case against then Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

It seemed he left Hyderabad within a short time after his proxy caught red-handed while buying an MLC .He also suspected his phone tapping in Hyderabad.

It is a good thing the administration came to within accessibility of the people but it was not wise to leave place where we could stay up to 2024.But he selected the capital place Amaravati against the views of analysists, economists , environmentalists ,of all the above he did consider the recommendations of the Sivaramakrishnan Committee which was constituted to recommend the capital area.

By choosing Amaravati as capital city after playing hide and seek for a considerable time he gave enough scope to inside trading for his paty loyalists and his kith and kin. Moreover the place that had been chosen known for three good crops per annum, especially horticulture crops.Further the area is under flood prone.

According to experts that much land is not necessary (33 thousand acres) for a capital of 5 crore odd people. Not only that the sunrise State could not provide as much finance as required to utilise that large chunks of land for Capital. So, it is alleged ,the previous government pooled the land through land pooling with a view on real estate business.

By keeping all these points in mind the present government would like to decentralise the capital by distributing government buildings in different places in the State. So far about ₹ 23,000 crore was spent on only for temporary accommodation.

It is also not correct to say Chennai, Mumbai and Hyderabad are also witnessed floods .But at the time of making those cities as capital it was believed they were not under flood prone.

But Amaravati is witnessing floods even in recent times .So the present government after taking popular public opinion it should make shifting of Capital even partially.
