The Lions Clubs International District 320 C organised ‘Go Green Save Life-2K Walk’ from Anandbagh X Roads to Saibaba temple in Malkajgiri.
Malkajgiri: The Lions Clubs International District 320 C organised 'Go Green Save Life-2K Walk' from Anandbagh X Roads to Saibaba temple in Malkajgiri.
A host of schools participated in the walk along with lion members, leading to a very impacting march through the entire distance, with passersby also joining with school kids carried banners, placards and they were also vocal in sloganeering to highlight the need for a Green World for the Safety of generations to come, as only a green environment can Save life.
Lion P Ravindranath Gupta, the District Governor, flagged off the 2K walk and led the entire programme. The kids also distributed fruits in Government Hospital, Malkajgiri. The walk was organised to mark the birth anniversary of former district governor lion A Linga Reddy.
