Patancheru: Executive Director of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) Uday Kumar called upon people to strive for realising the aim and aspirations of great and eminent persons.
He was speaking after participating in the 33rd anniversary of former Deputy Prime Minister Babu Jagjivan Ram under the auspices of BHEL SC, ST Association on Saturday. Kumar garlanded Jagjivan Ram's statue here.
Addressing the gathering, he lauded the services of Ram, describing him as a stalwart in politics well-known for his social service. Kumar desired that "everyone should make efforts for achieving success in social service". After the event, Uday Kumar gave away cash prizes and mementos to ranking students of a local government school.
