5,380-cr budget approved for GHMC

Hyderabad: Standing committee approved Rs 5380 Cr budget of financial year 2020-21 for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) on the meeting held on Thursday.

Commissioner DS Lokesh Kumar, Cherku Sangeetha, Samina Begum, Md Abdul Rahman, Md Mustafa Ali, Misbah Uddin, M Mamatha, Ekkela Chaitanya Kanna, Md Akhil Ahmad, Thonta Anjayya, Sabina Begum, Samala Hema participated in the meeting chaired by Mayor Bonthu Rammohan.

The budget was proposed on November 14 for the year 2020-21 and it was deeply discussed in the meeting held on Thursday and approved. Further, it will be discussed in the GHMC general body meeting held before February 20 and it should be forwarded for Government approval by March 7.
