Anti-mosquito drive at Saroornagar lake

Saroornagar: MLA Devireddy Sudheer Reddy along with local corporator Mudraboina Srinivas and Entomology staff sailed on a boat in Saroornagar Lake on Friday.

The staff sprayed pesticide in the lake to prevent breeding of mosquitoes. He said mosquito breeding areas are being identified and steps are being taken to prevent mosquito menace. He called upon people to keep their surroundings clean.

Bhavani Praveen Kumar, Chief Medical and Health Officer Amar, Deputy Commissioner Vijay Krishna, Senior entomologists Rajini, Asst Medical and Health Officer Mallikarjun and Horticulture Officer Afeez, Town Planning Officer Santosh were present.
