Brahmotsavam held at Kali Mandir
Nallapochamma Devi and Mahankali Temple at Sabji Mandi in Nataraj Nagar celebrated its 97th annual Brahmotsavam on Tuesday.

On this occasion, a CD containing songs of Goddess Kali was launched and other promotional pamphlets were unveiled. As a part of the annual Bonalu festivities, a decorated Ghatam will be taken for car-procession in the 14 areas from Tuesday to Friday.
Decorated with electric lights, the unique carnival celebrations covers the areas from Kasaratta to Hussiani Alam through the lanes of Purana Pul and Sri Sai Baba Mandir carnival carts with processions will reach Sabji Mandi by 9 p.m. on Saturday.
Pooja committee president Avusetti Shyam Sunder, secretary Chellimala Padma Rao, vice-President Gudumani Ashok Kumar, Gandla Niranjan Babu, Alle Dasarath and Committee Advisors Nasa Gnaneswar, Katta Sivaraju, Jalagari Venu, Burra Venu Kumar, Katta Narsing Rao and priest Senapathi Balakrishna were present.
