Hans News Service Gachibowli: The UGC-NET coaching centre at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) has started coaching for the NET/JRF examination. Around 100 students have enrolled for the coaching. Professor Ayub Khan, Pro Vice-Chancellor MANUU inaugurated the coaching classes as a chief guest. While addressing, he explained about various opportunities and challenges in the field of higher education. Comprehending the infrastructure and expertise available at MANUU and also advised the students to make use of this facilities and work hard to achieve their goals. He appreciated the faculty and research scholars for offering their services on voluntary basis for the benefit of the students. Dr Syed Najiullah, the Coordinator for UGC NET coaching centre, said, “This year the centre is conducting coaching on voluntary basis as the funds from the funding agency are not available. So far 48 students have cleared NET/JRF exam from this centre. The centre is providing coaching for the NET aspirants from the year 2005.” Dr H Aleem Basha, HOD-Physics & Director in-charge of CSE Coaching Academy, spoke about the various programmes run by the academy and exhorted the students to make sincere efforts to excel in their selected field. Dr Maqbool Ahmed, Head-Department of Botany and Coordinator, UGS Scheme for Entry into State Services, assured the students of providing best coaching for the NET exam.
