Hyderabad: A 25-year-old Zomato delivery boy lodged a complaint with the Karkhana police seeking action against a couple for allegedly assaulting him over the late delivery of food.
The incident was captured on a CCTV camera installed at the apartment. According to police, the Zomato delivery boy, Ashish, received an order from a couple residing at Vasavinagar in Secunderabad.
However, Ashish reached the location later than expected. The couple, after receiving the food parcel, got into an argument with him.
Police said the delivery boy explained that he was delayed due to traffic snarls and that the location shared by the couple had been changed on the Zomato app. Irate over the delay, the couple allegedly assaulted him.
