Depressed man kills self by hanging
A 48-year-old man committed suicide by hanging from a tree at a secluded place in Dhulapally under Petbasheerabad police station limits in the wee hours of Monday.
Petbasheerabad: A 48-year-old man committed suicide by hanging from a tree at a secluded place in Dhulapally under Petbasheerabad police station limits in the wee hours of Monday.
According to the police, during regular patrolling duty at around 2 am, they found a dead body at Dhulapally forest area. After identifying the deceased as R Nageshwar Rao (48) at 7 am, they informed his son-in-law K Sattibabu (25) about the suicide.
He along with the other family members rushed to the spot and told police that the deceased had fought with his wife over alcohol consumption three months ago and left the house. Police suspect that the victim took the extreme step due to depression. They shifted the body to Gandhi Hospital mortuary for postmortem. The police are investigating the case.
