Fruit seller murdered in KPHB in Hyderabad

A fruit seller was murdered here at Pragati Nagar under KPHB police station limits.
A fruit seller was murdered here at Pragati Nagar under KPHB police station limits. The incident occurred on Friday but came to fore today when the victim succumbed to injuries.
The police said that the assailant visited the shop of the victim, Shakib Ali (30) and refused to pay the money after purchasing fruits. A quarrel broke out between the two following which the accused brought three of his friends and attacked the shop owner.
Shakib Ali sustained grievous injuries and was shifted to a private hospital where he died while undergoing treatment. The police registered a case and launched a hunt to nab the accused. Further investigation is underway.
This incident comes after the murder of a fruit seller in Kothapet fruit market on December 26. The victim, Raju along with few other friends including the accused, Mohd Feroz consumed alcohol. An argument erupted between Feroz and Raju over theft of fruits in the market. On the next day, Raju was found dead at an isolated place in the market.
