Gandhi Sankalp Yatra 2nd phase from today
The second phase of the ‘Gandhi Sankalp Yatra’ will commence on October 30 at Gajvel and conclude in Medak district on November 4, said BJP State general secretary and in-charge of yatra Manohar Reddy here on Monday.
Patancheru: The second phase of the 'Gandhi Sankalp Yatra' will commence on October 30 at Gajvel and conclude in Medak district on November 4, said BJP State general secretary and in-charge of yatra Manohar Reddy here on Monday.
Speaking as the chief guest at a meeting of party activists chaired by Narender Reddy, he said participants in the yatra should wear white dress and shun non-vegetarian food.
"Those taking part in the yatra should take up the responsibility of spreading Gandhiji's ideals to people, in keeping with the objectives of the event. They should also enlighten the people about the Central government's welfare schemes," Reddy stated. BJP official representative Raghunandan Rao said every party leader and activist should join the yatra.
Among those present at the meeting were Sangareddy district in-charge Srivardhan Reddy, former district unit president Vishnuvardhan Reddy, convener Mohan Goud, Patancheru constituency in-charge Karunakar Reddy, former ZPTC Member Srikanth Goud, leaders Adelli Ravinder, Bapuraj Goud, Shivasai, Parama Reddy and Mahender Goud.
