Garbage has been piling up everywhere in Monda market area. Locals demand that the officials address the issue and ensure that the garbage is removed regularly.
Monda Market: Garbage has been piling up everywhere in Monda market area. Locals demand that the officials address the issue and ensure that the garbage is removed regularly.
It appears that neither sanitation workers nor the officials seem to be concerned about lifting of the piled-up garbage from the markets. Locals complain that the sanitation staff has not been removing the garbage every day. One can see tree branches which fell on main road a week ago still lying on road. Despite several complaints, the tree branches have not been removed by sanitation workers, locals alleged.
They are apprehensive that the piled-up garbage may result in spread of diseases. Some locals have alleged that the supervisors and contractors who are responsible for monitoring the lifting of garbage were not performing their duties.
