GHMC standing panel takes key decisions
GHMC standing committee meeting was held here at the GHMC main office on Thursday.
Hyderabad: GHMC standing committee meeting was held here at the GHMC main office on Thursday. The meeting was presided by the city mayor Bonthu Rammohan. GHMC commissioner Lokesh Kumar, standing committee members Cheruku Prashant Goud, Mohammad Abdul Rahman, Mustafa Ali, Misbauddin, Majid Hussain, M Mamatha, Mohammad Aqeel Ahmed, Shaik Hameed, Thota Anjaiah, Sabiha Begum, Ravula Sheshagiri, Samala Hema, GHMC officials Advaitha Kumar Singh, Sandeep Jha, Shruthi Ozha, Kennedy, Krishna, Hari Chandana, Srinivas Reddy, Shankaraiah, Mamatha, CE Sridhar, CCP Devender Reddy, CVO Venkateshwar Reddy and others attended the meeting.
Among the important decisions taken at the meeting include: establishing multi-media, music, dancing water fountain in Meeralam Tank Park with an estimated cost of Rs 2.90 crore; modern lighting system on cable bridge at Durgam Tank with estimated cost of Rs 5.10 crore; construction of storm water drain as part of modernization of Gandhinagar nala with an estimated cost of Rs 7.75 crore; handing over the maintenance of solar power plant to be installed on rooftops of GHMC buildings and its integration with 941 kv solar grid to a capex model agency through TSREDCO. A total of 13 resolutions were approved at the meeting.
