Patancheru: The Gram Sabha held in Chitkul village on Tuesday unanimously resolved to press the government to give priority to women's safety. Sarpanch Neelam Madhu presided over the meeting, where an awareness programme on women's safety was conducted.

Addressing the gathering, Madhu advised every resident to take precaution regarding personal hygiene. The meeting discussed house tax collection and development works. Madhu was felicitated for receiving the Seva Ratna National Award. Among those present were MPTC member Patlolla Narender Reddy, upa-sarpnch Vishnuvardhan Reddy, ward members, village elders and residents.
