A man committed suicide here at Vanasthalipuram after losing several lakhs of rupees while playing online games.
A man committed suicide here at Vanasthalipuram after losing several lakhs of rupees while playing online games. He was identified as Jagadeesh (33).
According to the police, Jagadeesh addicted to online games for easy money-making. He borrowed money from friends and relatives to gamble and make quick money. But, he lost most of the games. However, Jagadeesh cleared some debts and still had much to repay. With no money left with him, Jagadeesh decided to end his life.
He took a selfie video in which he asked his wife to forgive him.
Jagadeesh paid off debts up to Rs 12 lakh and played the online game again to clear the remaining. However, he lost all. The police were informed who inspected his house and sent the body for autopsy. T
The police registered a case and launched an investigation.
