Mandal sports meet kicks off
State Olympic Association joint secretary P Mallareddy, Malkajgiri MEO K Madan Chowdary, Tarnaka corporator Alakunta Saraswathi participated in the 13th mandal sports meet, which was organised by Malkajgiri-Alwal private schools association in Jayashankar Stadium in Lalapet on Monday.
Tarnaka: State Olympic Association joint secretary P Mallareddy, Malkajgiri MEO K Madan Chowdary, Tarnaka corporator Alakunta Saraswathi participated in the 13th mandal sports meet, which was organised by Malkajgiri-Alwal private schools association in Jayashankar Stadium in Lalapet on Monday.
Speaking on the association, they said, "Students should practise sports from their childhood. They should give equal importance to sports and cultural activities along with studies.
Everyone should move forward making 'Fit India' following the words of PM Narendra Modi." Total 53 schools are participating in 28 different sports. Students participated very actively in the meet. Ratnakar, Krishna, Uma Mahesh Naidu, Govardhan, Srinivas Reddy, Raju, Sai Ganesh and others were present.
