Mallapur: The Mallapur Division Colonies Welfare Associations Joint Action Committee (MDCWA-JAC) members distributed pamphlets on Sunday sensitizing people on the effects of cell towers in residential areas.
The MDCWA-JAC convenor, T Malkaiah said mobile network service providers were creating harm to health of people by setting up cell towers in residential areas. "There are many cell towers in the division and a new one is being set up over a house in Dattatreya Nagar," he added. He urged officials concerned to come to their aid and take immediate action.
The MDCWA-JAC co convener, MB Durga Madhavi, members Gandhamalla Ramulu Goud, VSN Reddy, M Ravi, B Raju, B Giri Prasad, Padmanabha Raju, Seetharam Reddy, Seri Raju and others were present.
