Fatehnagar: Following complaints by the residents of Fatehnagar division, particularly from the Pipeline Road area to Sivashankar Colony, of facing severe hardships on account of getting water supply once in five days, the pipeline leading to greater Hyderabad was linked to the supply line on Friday at a cost of Rs 7 lakh, following the intervention of Kukatpally MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao.
Completion of the work on Monday would result in water supply on alternate days, said Rao. Local corporator Pandala Satish Goud was present.
