Pay tax by April 30, get 5% discount

GHMC plans to procure large amount in the early bird Scheme. It will provide five per cent discount for those who pay their property tax by April 30. In the year 2018-19 financial year, the collection of property tax went up by Rs 74.29 crore.
Hyderabad: GHMC plans to procure large amount in the early bird Scheme. It will provide five per cent discount for those who pay their property tax by April 30. In the year 2018-19 financial year, the collection of property tax went up by Rs 74.29 crore. Commissioner Dana Kishore set a goal of collecting more than Rs 437.75 crore collected by way of the early bird scheme of 2018-19.
This 5 percent rebate will be only on 2019-20 financial year for property tax payers. Dana Kishore also said property tax payers can pay the tax at citizen service centers, E-Seva, Mee-Seva and also using My GHMC app from April 6 to 30. Early bird scheme is only applicable for the property tax payers who have no dues in the last year.
