Rampant littering gives rise to stenchy stretch
Overflowing of garbage has been a constant source of problem to the residents of Syndicate Bank Colony for the past one week. As the garbage is thrown on the road, it is making it almost impossible to travel and the stench is unbearable.

Many locals have complained that for the past few days the garbage has been emanating foul smell and it is uncomfortable to the passerby move for this area. It has also become a breeding ground for mosquitoes, pigs, cows, and stray dogs.
"We have informed the cornered authorities about the unattended garbage through social media by sending various pictures related to this issue, but no action is taken yet. He also said that the GHMC workmen earlier used to clean the garbage at least weekly once but now they don't even bother to clean this area," Y Vijay, a local.
