Schoolchildren take out Justice for Disha rally
students of Yellammabanda government school took out a ‘Justice for Disha’ rally, under the leadership of TRS youth leader Dodla Ramakrishna Goud, to Janbmabhumi Colony.
Allwyn Colony: students of Yellammabanda government school took out a 'Justice for Disha' rally, under the leadership of TRS youth leader Dodla Ramakrishna Goud, to Janbmabhumi Colony. During the rally, local corporator Dodla Venkatesh Goud stuck wall stickers listing the SHE team phone numbers intended for protection of women on autorickshaws, near shops and crossroads.
Addressing the participants, the corporator demanded immediate stringent punishment to the accused in the gangrape-murder case. He advised women not to lose hope when faced with a frightful situation, and 'Dial 100' to reach out to police. Goud described the Shamshabad incident as painful.
Among those who took part in the rally were SI Ram Reddy, TRS division president Jilla Ganesh, ward members Chinnolla Srinivas, Kashinath Yadav, Anjali, Lakshmamma, Saraswati, Area Committee Members Shoukath Ali, Munna, Ramulu Goud, Palamuru Bhaskar Rao, Party Leaders Samma Reddy, Shivraj Goud, Nagabushnam, Bhaskar, Kumari, Swaroopa, Bibi, Ganita, Drakshaynini, Varalakshmi and Nagamani.
