Shiv Sena threat to disrup the show of comedian Kunal Kamra
Hyderabad: Shiv Sena Telangana President Sinkaru Shivaji on Friday warned of disrupting the show of comedian Kunal Kamra.
Shivaji said that a person like Kunal Kamra, who continuously insults Sanatana Dharma, Hindu deities, and religious beliefs in the name of comedy, has no right to set foot in Hyderabad.
He said that the Shiv Sena Telangana unit strongly condemned the inappropriate and derogatory remarks made in the past by Kunal Kamra against the Shiv Sena chief and Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde.
"We will under no circumstances tolerate behavior that disrespects our leader or target Sanatana Dharma. If Kunal Kamra attempts to perform on any stage or at any event in Hyderabad, Shiv Sena cadres will ruthlessly block and disrupt the show," said Shivaji.
If organizers disregard this warning and provide a venue for his performance, they alone will bear full responsibility for the severe consequences that follow, he warned.
The Shiv Sena chief said that there was no place on the soil of Telangana for those who insult Hindu Dharma and political leaders under the guise of freedom of speech. Kunal Kamra must 'Go Back' from Hyderabad immediately, he said.
