South Central Railway celebrates Constitution Day

South Central Railway celebrated the National Constitution Day all over the zone on Thursday.
Hyderabad: South Central Railway celebrated the National Constitution Day all over the zone on Thursday. On this occasion, General Manager of SCR Gajanan Mallya, read the Preamble of the Constitution at Rail Nilayam, headquarters of the zone, along with officers and staff.
The general manager along with additional general manager and principal heads of the departments initiated a signature campaign at Rail Nilayam as part of the awareness programme on the eve of Constitution Day.
As a part of the celebrations, an extensive campaign is being undertaken on the Railways. Banners and posters on fundamental duties of citizens have been displayed at railway stations/trains to bring awareness on the Constitution Day among the passengers.
A pledge was also administered to all the employees working at field units and offices. Dissemination of information on fundamental duties of citizens had been highlighted through the social media platforms. Quiz contests, debates had also been organised by railway training institutes.
