Osmania University: Students unions AISF, PDSU and TSU on Monday condemned the arrest of CPI state leader Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao. They burnt the effigy of state government in front of Arts College.
They criticised the government for threatening RTC workers, instead of organising a meeting with them. They said RTC workers are taking extreme steps because of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's statement that he would wind up the corporation.
K Srinivas, Satya, Ganesh, Ravi, Chanagani Dayakar, Venkatesh, Krishna Madiga, Satish, Mastan, Rakesh, V Aravind and others were present on the occasion.
