TNGOs Union donates wheelchairs to Osmania General Hospital
The Hyderabad branch of the TNGOs Union celebrated the birthday of TRS working president KT Rama Rao at Osmania General Hospital here on Wednesday.
Afzalgunj: The Hyderabad branch of the TNGOs Union celebrated the birthday of TRS working president KT Rama Rao at Osmania General Hospital here on Wednesday.
As part of the celebrations, the president of the Union Mujeeb handed over wheelchairs, stretchers and four stands worth Rs 1 lakh to the hospital superintendent Dr Nagender as a donation. The program was inspired by KTR's call to help the needy on his birthday instead of wasting money on pomp and show.
Speaking on the occasion, Mujeeb praised KTR for his magnanimity and said that his message to help the need instead of wasting money on celebrations was worth emulating. He said that TNGOs union would strive to realise the goal of a healthy Telangana.
As part of the celebrations, Mujeeb, along with hospital staff and doctors, cut a huge cake. Union leaders Rahim, Suresh Babu, Venkatesh, Vikram, Balaraju, hospital in-charge Dr Sai Shoba and others participated in the program.
