Training held on vote counting
Micro observers and vote counting staff were trained on counting of postal ballot or Electronically Transmitted Postal Ballot System (ETPBS) votes of LS elections at DRDO Chamber in District Collectorate on Thursday.
Medchal-Malkajgiri: Micro observers and vote counting staff were trained on counting of postal ballot or Electronically Transmitted Postal Ballot System (ETPBS) votes of LS elections at DRDO Chamber in District Collectorate on Thursday.
Addressing the meeting, Joint Collector D Srinivas Reddy cautioned the staff to be alert and careful while counting votes, as it was the most critical part of election system, and to ensure that they commit no mistakes while performing duties.
He advised them to read the Election Commission norms for counting votes carefully and clarify any doubts they might have. He also urged the staff to complete the entire process of counting votes peacefully and in the stipulated time. Srinivas Reddy then presented a PowerPoint presentation on the postal ballot counting process to the counting staff.
