MP Ponguleti denies speculations of joining Congress
Of late, there have been rumours doing rounds that TRS party high command has been angry with Ponguleti in view of bad performance of the party in Khammam district in the recent Assembly elections.
Khammam: Khammam MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy denied the speculations of him joining the Congress party. Addressing his followers on Thursday morning, Ponguleti said the rumours of him switching loyalties to Congress were not true, and added that he would remain loyal to Telangana Rashtra Samithi even if they deny him the Khammam MP ticket this time.
Of late, there have been rumours doing rounds that TRS party high command has been angry with Ponguleti in view of bad performance of the party in Khammam district in the recent Assembly elections.
It's being heard that TRS held Ponguleti responsible for the Khammam debacle and refused to give him the MP ticket this time, and also that Ponguleti was now being offered MP ticket by Congress party and seriously considering of joining the grand old party. However, on Thursday, Ponguleti cleared the air over rumours and stated that he would stick to the TRS party and its decision come whatsoever.
