Ponguleti reviews PM-KISAN benefits during Narayanapur visit
Khammam: Senior BJP leader and former MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, who is the party’s National Co-incharge for Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, interacted with farmers and beneficiaries of the PM-KISAN scheme during a visit to his native village Narayanapur in Kallur mandal on Tuesday. Reddy spoke to farmers from Narayanapur and neighbouring areas and enquired about the benefits they were receiving under PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi and other Central government schemes. He sought feedback on the financial assistance and discussed how the support was helping farmers meet agricultural and household expenses.
He said PM-KISAN was designed to provide direct and transparent financial assistance to eligible farmers. Reddy stressed the importance of assessing the ground-level impact of welfare schemes by interacting directly with beneficiaries and understanding their concerns and suggestions.
Earlier, he visited the Sri Muthyalamma temple and performed special prayers. He later offered prayers at the Sri Sita Rama temple along with Lord Hanuman.
Reddy also visited Ganesh pandals organised by village youth and appreciated their efforts and community participation. District Kisan Morcha leaders, farmers, youth and villagers participated in the programmes.
