AIIMS Bibinagar to expand advanced healthcare services
Nizamabad: Nizamabad Urban MLA Dhanpal Suryanarayana said AIIMS Bibinagar was providing advanced healthcare services at affordable rates, comparable to private hospitals. He made the remarks after inspecting the facility on Tuesday.
Dhanpal said the 750-bed institute currently has 260 beds operational and is expected to become fully functional within six months. Patients can avail themselves of outpatient services for one year by paying just Rs10, while the inpatient bed charge is Rs35 per day.
He said doctors and staff were available across 25 major departments and urged poor and middle-class families to utilise the facilities. Patients suffering from chronic ailments or requiring emergency care could approach AIIMS, he said. Dhanpal assured that he would facilitate referrals for specialised treatment.
