Opportunities aplenty for CAs
Students who complete chattered accounting (CA) course have a wide range of job opportunities, said the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Vijayawada Branch chairperson Dr Y Nagavalli. She was chief guest at a programme on job opportunities for CA students held at KBN College on Monday.

She was chief guest at a programme on job opportunities for CA students held at KBN College on Monday.
Addressing the gathering, she said that CA course has good demand in India and people who have completed CA have opportunities across the world. She said that students with commitment and determination can complete the course, and most of the students have misconception about the course, she said. Students should show extra commitment and interest in completing the course and later they can be a part of the development of the nation.
The college principal Dr V Narayana Rao said that people who completed CA were respected and have recognition in society. One should not consider CA as an employment and treat as a service to society. Students who choose CS should complete the course as soon as possible without leaving it in the middle, he added. Association secretary K Poornachandra Rao, association chairman V Narendra Babu, college vice-principal E Varaprasad, faculty and students were present.
