Visakhapatnam: The district administration is pulling out all stops to host CII Partnership Summit, regional conference, scheduled at IIM-Visakhapatnam, Gambheeram on October 7 (Wednesday).
Collector M Abhishikth Kishore instructed the officials to ensure complete coordination of concerned departments for a hassle-free organisation of the event.
Earlier, a review meeting was held involving GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg and other department heads for the elaborate arrangements of the summit.
As many as 500 people are expected to take part in the event along with Central and state ministers and public representatives. The summit also includes exhibition of various industries at the campus.
On Tuesday, the collector, along with APEDB CEO Sagili Shan Mohan, among others, inspected the arrangements made for the summit at the institution. After examining the main venue, exhibition stalls, AP pavilion, registration of delegates, parking, and other facilities, the Collector directed the officials to coordinate with one another so that delegates and other participants do not face any inconvenience.
