The Hindustan Shipyard in Visakhapatnam has announced the recruitment of permanent and contract jobs and released a notification to this effect where a total of 26 posts will be recruited with 9 permanent posts and 17 contract posts.
The Hindustan Shipyard in Visakhapatnam has announced the recruitment of permanent and contract jobs and released a notification to this effect where a total of 26 posts will be recruited with 9 permanent posts and 17 contract posts. Permanent posts include General Manager-2, Additional General Manager (HR) -1, Managers 6 (Commercial 2, Technical 4) while the contract posts include Deputy Manager-1, Managers 2, Assistant Managers 8, Junior Manager 1, Medical Officers 2, Senior Consultants-3 posts.
Eligible and interested candidates should apply by January 8. Hard copies of the application should be sent by post by January 16. As per the notification, the candidates applying for Commercial category in Manager posts should have MMS / MBA qualification along with degree. The notification states that priority will be given to those who have done the Law couse. While the applicants in technical department should have a qualification of BE / BTech and peference will be given to those who have done PG Diploma. Applicants for Shop / IT section should have done MCA / BTech / BE.
Candidates must have at least nine years of experience, the notification said. Only those under the age of 40 are eligible to apply and applicants for Assistant Manager posts should have completed Degree / BE / BTech with at least 60% marks in relevant disciplines. Must have two years of experience and the age should not exceed 35 years.
Applicants for the post of Medical Officer must be MBC certified along with MBBS. Must have two years of experience with age not exceeding 35 years. Other qualifications, full details can be found in the notification.
