Visakhapatnam: In a remarkable academic achievement, seven scientific research papers submitted by Dr. Abdul D Khan, head of the department of Orthopedics at Apollo Hospitals Visakhapatnam have been accepted for presentation under the prestigious Dr. KP Srivastava Medal Award category at the Indian Orthopedic Association Annual Conference (IOACON), scheduled to be held in Ahmedabad in December.
Selecting all seven research papers for the prestigious award category is considered a rare distinction and a significant achievement in orthopedic research.
The research papers focus on the two-year follow-up outcomes of various advanced arthroscopic procedures involving the knee and shoulder, including meniscal repair, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and rotator cuff repair.
