Awareness on working of She Teams
In a bid to create awareness about the services extended by the She Teams, a division of Telangana Police for enhanced safety and security of women, the Warangal Police Commissionerate has on Sunday took up poster campaign in the city.

Releasing the posters, Warangal Commissioner of Police V Ravinder said that their aim is to keep a tab on eve teasers by enlightening the services provided by the She teams.
"The Commissionerate has been organising awareness programmes in colleges so that the girl students get an idea of the She teams that have been keeping a tight vigil in the bus stations, main junctions, theatres and other public places to ab the eve teasers," Ravinder said.
He asked the girl students and working women to call or send a WhatsApp message to 94910 89257 if they face problems from hooligans. He said that the identity of those who lodge a complaint would be kept secret. He said that police are conducting counselling sessions to those caught under eve teasing, along with their parents.
"The She teams are here to create a sense of self confidence among the girls and women," he said. Task force ACP Chakravarthy and She Teams inspector Srinivas were among others present.
