Gundu Sudharani takes charge as KUDA Chairperson

Hanumakonda: Gundu Sudharani officially assumed charge as Chairperson of the Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA) on Saturday. She took the oath and formally took charge at the KUDA office in Hanumakonda amid the presence of public representatives, officials, Congress leaders and party activists. MLAs Naini Rajender Reddy, Kadiyam Srihari and Revuri Prakash Reddy, along with State Mahila Congress President Errabelli Swarna, Congress leaders, Hanumakonda District Collector Chahat Bajpayee and Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation Commissioner Venkanna, congratulated Sudharani and presented bouquets and sweets. The MLAs urged her to accelerate urban development programmes, with priority given to infrastructure and basic amenities. They stressed the need for planned development in view of rapid urbanisation and expressed confidence that ongoing KUDA projects would be completed quickly for the comprehensive development of urban areas.
