Integrated School to boost quality education in rural areas

Hanumakonda: Vardhannapet MLA and retired IPS officer KR Nagaraju said the Young India Integrated School at Upparapalli Cross would provide corporate-level educational facilities to students from rural areas. He inspected the ongoing construction works along with officials on Thursday. The school is being constructed on about 16 acres and 11 plots at an estimated cost of Rs 200 crore. Nagaraju reviewed the progress of the works and enquired about the construction plan, infrastructure and facilities proposed for students.
He directed officials to complete the project at the earliest as per the approved plan and stressed that there should be no compromise on construction quality. He said the school must provide modern facilities along with quality education.
Nagaraju said the government was according priority to the education sector and aimed to extend modern educational facilities to rural students. He also directed officials to regularly monitor the works and coordinate with concerned departments to avoid delays. State Congress Legal Cell Vice-Chairman Nimmani Sekhar Rao, engineering officials and local leaders were present.
