Minister Sitakka reviews development plans for Malluru Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple

WARANGAL: The Telangana government has initiated comprehensive development works at the renowned Malluru Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Mulugu district, aiming to provide enhanced infrastructure facilities for devotees. Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Minister Sitakka held a review meeting with concerned officials at the State Secretariat to discuss the temple development plans.

The meeting was attended by Endowments Department Commissioner Hanumantharao, prominent architects, and other relevant officials. Minister Sitakka discussed the current conditions at Malluru shrine, devotee footfall, existing facilities, and future requirements with the officials and architects.

Priority to devotee amenities

Minister Sitakka instructed that development works should be undertaken in line with the historical and spiritual significance of Malluru kshetram. As part of improving basic infrastructure for devotees, it was decided to develop facilities including a kalyana mandapam (marriage hall), dormitory, and annadanam satram (community dining hall).

No disturbance to temple sanctity

The minister made it clear that development works should not cause any inconvenience or disturbance to the main temple structure. She directed architects and officials to formulate the development plan keeping in mind the sanctity of the shrine, the temple's architectural form, and the special characteristics of the surrounding areas.

Site visit soon

Minister Sitakka will visit the Malluru Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple soon to finalise the design for development works. After examining the ground-level conditions personally, she will approve the design suitable for the development activities.

Technical decisions after rock test

It was decided in the meeting to conduct a rock test at the earliest to determine soil conditions, construction capacity, and other related aspects for the proposed constructions. Based on the rock test report, technical aspects related to further construction works will be finalised.

Minister Sitakka directed officials to undertake comprehensive development ensuring that devotees visiting Malluru Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy kshetram have access to necessary basic facilities along with a spiritual experience. She ordered that works should be completed with quality standards, proper coordination, and without causing any inconvenience to devotees.
