Narsampet(Warangal Rural): No other State in the country had introduced as many welfare and development programmes as Telangana has, Rythu Bandhu Samithi State President Palla Rajeshwar Reddy said. Speaking at the preparatory meetings for the ensuing elections to the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Graduates Constituency Council seat here on Sunday, he said that the State has made significant strides in welfare and development under the TRS government. "Even though the economy had taken a dent due to the coronavirus lockdown, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had released Rs 7,300 crore to assist the farmers under Rythu Bandhu scheme," Rajeshwar Reddy, who is also the sitting MLC of the Graduates Constituency, said.

Rajeshwar Reddy claimed that the government filled 1.03 lakh vacant posts through the TSPSC. As part of rural development, the government took up the construction of Vaikuntadhamams and Palle Prakruti Vanams in 12,600 gram panchayats, he said. The government also protected TSRTC by allocating Rs 1,000 crore, he said.

He said that the time is not far away that TRS will hit back the BJP strongly.

He assured to set up a free coaching centre for the locals to prepare for the competitive exams. A job mela will also be organised to provide employment opportunities to local youth, he said. He appealed to graduates to vote for Palla Rajeshwar Reddy in the ensuing elections to the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Graduates Constituency. He told the cadres to gear up for the Council election which is not far away.
