Warangal: The TRS party is built on the hard work of its cadres, Minister for Panchayat Raj Errabelli Dayakar Rao said, speaking at the Warangal West Assembly constituency-level meeting, here, on Saturday.
TRS is the only party that looks after the wellbeing of its cadres, he said, referring to the insurance provision provided to nearly 60 lakh party activists, the Minister said. "The welfare schemes and programmes implemented by the TRS government have become a beacon to many other States in the country," he said. The TRS is capable of influencing national politics, he added.
He said that the TRS government is following the path shown by the greats like Telangana ideologue Prof Jayashankar and irrigation expert R Vidyasagar Rao.
Training guns on BJP, he criticised that party's State President Bandi Sanjay for not securing relief from the Centre to Warangal during the floods. "The BJP leaders who claim that the Central government had given Rs 196 crore to Warangal, need to understand that it was nothing if compared to the funds released by the State," the Minister said.
