Police send notice to Zomato user demanding Hindu valet

The Zomato user who cancelled his food order on deliver app Zomato for being assigned a "non-Hindu rider" was sent a notice by Madhya Pradesh police. Sources state he was warned of being sent to jail over his biased tweets.

The events took place yesterday, when a user demanded a refund for his cancelled order when he discovered his food was being delivered by a "Non-Hindu".

Once the Zomato team responded saying food has no religion, the internet quickly got divided and people took sides as to who was right in the matter. The delivery person assigned said he did feel bad about the state of affairs, but he couldn't do anything about it.
