Congress leader and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi on Saturday alleged on Twitter that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had surrendered land in Ladakh to China. referring to PM Modi's statement that India has not lost an inch of its land to China in the stand-off at Galvan Valley on June 15, Rahul Gandhi questioned why 20 soldiers lost their lives in the violent clash.

Posing a question to Prime Minister Modi based on his statement two leaders of various political parties at the all-party meeting on Friday that there have been no intrusions into Indian territory and that no post has been lost, Rahul Gandhi and said that the Prime Minister had PM "surrendered Indian territory to Chinese aggression."

The Congress leader posed other questions such as if the "land was Chinese, why were our soldiers killed He also questioned PM Modi on where they were killed.

The Congress for the past few days has been questioning the Narendra Modi led government at the Centre on the stand-off at the line of actual control with China. Rahul Gandhi had earlier questioned PM Modi's silence on the issue. Later, the all-party meeting was announced by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO). The Wayanad MP posed a question earlier as to why soldiers on the frontlines were unarmed during the talks and subsequent clashes, to which Union Minister for External Affairs clarified that all troops on the border were armed, but there were certain agreements in place from earlier times for talks and negotiations.

Indian and Chinese troops clashed violently in the Galwan Valley of Eastern Ladakh on June 15 leaving 20 Indian soldiers martyred.
