Thal Sena Bhawan: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh Lays Foundation Stone
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh laid the foundation stone for the new headquarter building of the Indian Army the ‘Thal Sena Bhawan’.
Today on 21 February, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh laid the foundation stone for the new headquarter building of the Indian Army the 'Thal Sena Bhawan', at the Delhi cantonment.
The Indian Army said the 'Thal Sena Bhawan' has been constructed as a multistory green building following environmental norms.

On occasion, Indian Army Chief General M M Naravane and other senior Army officers were also present along with the Defence Minister. At the Thal Sena Bhawan foundation stone laying ceremony a multi-faith prayer was also held.
Speaking at the ceremony, Singh said that the Thal Sena Bhawan foundation stone would act as the "source of the inspiration for all of us." He further added that India is known as a competitive nation in the world today because of our brave soldiers.
The Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also said that the new headquarters would be dedicated to the bravery of the armed forces unsung heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country.
